How does the Brugge City Card work?

The Brugge City Card is a discount card which gives you free admission or entitles you to a discount when you visit any of the attractions covered by this city card. The more places you visit, the more money you will save. Information about opening hours and a description of what is on offer in Bruges can be found in the visitors guide, which you will receive when you collect your Brugge City Card. The free monthly events@brugge magazine lists all the events where you will get a discount when you present your Brugge City Card.

You can find all of the benefits of the Brugge City Card listed on this website or in the handy Brugge City Card flyer available to download here.

Use and validity of the Brugge City Card

The Brugge City Card is valid for a period of 48 hours or 72 hours, depending on your chosen period of validity. Your Brugge City Card is only valid when on receiving the card you fill in your name as well as the date and the time. The Brugge City Card is automatically activated when it is first used. Once your Brugge City Card has expired, the card will automatically become invalidated.

Every attraction covered by the Brugge City Card can only be visited once and during opening hours only. Please bear in mind that a considerable number of museums are closed on Mondays and that the Brugge City Card can only be used for round trips on the canals, tours with the City Tour minibus and the diamond-cutting shows within specific timeframes.
